This is an original painting by Walter Velez (1939-2018) created for the cover of the classic science fiction novel written by Jacqueline Lichtenberg and Jean Lorrah, published in 1986 by DAW Books - and was Book 8 in the widely known Sime~Gen Universe series.  (I show the cover for your reference).  Great characters and composition that are perfect for capturing the fun of the genre, handpainted in acrylic on stretched canvas, 30" x 20" and signed by Velez.
