This is the original cover painting created by Walter Velez (1939-2018) for Book 2 of the "Averidan" series of fantasy novels by Brenda Clough, published by DAW, 1986.  (I show the published cover for your reference)  This is an atypical fantasy, featuring a fascinating world filled with memorable characters - as only Walter can envision them!   Handpainted In acrylics on stretched canvas, significantly sized at 30" x 18" and  signed.
