This is an original painting by Walter Velez (1939-2018) created for the cover of the 1981 fantasy novel by John Myers Myers - marketed as the sequel to his novel "Silverlock" (also illustrated by Velez), publshed by Ace, 1984  (I show the cover for your reference).  Great characters and lovely graceful composition that was perfect for the story, handpainted in acrylic on illusration board, 30" x 19" and signed by Velez.
