This is an original painting by Walter Velez (1939-2018) for the 3rd in a series of five comedic adventure science fiction/fantasy books written by Charles L. Grant under the pen name Lionel Fenn. The novels were published as mass-market paperbacks by Ace Books in the early 1990s, and each featured cover art by Walter Velez. (I show the covers for reference) Walter's sense of humor was a perfect match for these sci-fi adult spoofs - Handpainted in acrylic on stretched canvas, 25" x 13" and signed by Velez.
