Walter Velez (1939-2018) was known for his wholly original style and memorable imagery - and this original painting created for the cover of Lin Carter's fantasy novel surely demonstrates both!  Created for DAW Books, 1987 (published cover shown for reference), this work has great details, characters, and colors, which combine to produce a great "mock horror" cover that is totally Velez.  In acrylics on illustration board 27" x 16" and signed.
