Walter Velez (1939-2018) was known for his wholly original style of expression, and his whimsical, humorous take on fantasy - nowhere demonstrated more clearly than in this original cover painting for Book #1 of "Ups and Sorcery" - Greg Costikyan's send-up of fantasy role-playing games, published by Tor Books, 1990.
