Tom Kidd: Final Quest of the Wizard Sarnod Interior

This is an original pencil drawing illustrating the story by Jeff Vandermeer - one of several by Kidd - that was featured in the tribute anthology "Songs of the Dying Earth: Stories in honor of Jack Vance" pp 146-171, edited by Gardner Dozois and George R. R. Martin, and published by Subterranean Press, 2009. The collection featured new stories by notable fantasy authors set in the world of Jack Vance's iconic "Dying Earth" series - and Kidd's art was also used on the cover   This drawing is 12" x 17" and is signed and dated bottom right of the image.  It's a very fine example of fantasy art by Kidd and note: if you are interested in purchasing more than one of Tom's drawings, I will combine the shipping!
