Terry Oakes: The History Lesson

Original personal works forming a trilogy of paintings, exploring a very personal concept. Surrealistic in theme, fantastical in concept yet painted with almost photographic technique, this is a gripping and stark "history" each section done in acrylic on Cryla paper......the center painting , 12" x 8.5" and the side paintings each 8.5" x 8", and each signed. The tryptych can be framed as one horizontal/panoramic image with dimensions c. 29" x 8.5", as a narrative progressing from left to right, or as separate images, each telling their own story.
