Terry Oakes: The Glow

Original book cover llustration art commissioned c. 1980 by Futura for the eerie urban thriller by Brooks Stanwood, but Terry doesn't think it was ever used.  The sneakers ("trainers" per Terry) on the feet relate to the plot, but the image he believes was judged to be a bit too grim for readers!    Handpainted in gouache on illustration board, c. 18" x 12 " and signed.
