Tom Kidd: "Jewels of the Dragon"

This is an original painting by Tom Kidd one of a handful from a private collection returning to the market for the first time in 22 years.  This 1986 science fiction adventure novel by Allen L. Wold was the 1st Book in his "Rikard Braeth Adventures" (followed by Crown of the Serpent and The Lair of the Cyclops) and perfectly captures the warmth and sense of fun that Tom is famous for - a memorable original style of expression that makes his work instantly recognizable!    Published in paperback by Popular Library (I show the cover for reference) and Painted in oil on board,  c. 26" x 16" plus frame and signed bottom right.
