This is an original painting by Steve Hickman (1949-2021) created for the cover of John Moore's humorous fantasy novel, published by Baen Books 1994 (I show the published cover for reference) NOTICE that the spaces for title and author on the original artwork - which were blank and filled in by the Art Director for publication - have been altered! Where the painting had blank space The owner added this overlay to the outside of the glass, to make it undeniably his own. And you can do the same! Tailor it for your collection and have a unique addition to your "horde" - or replace the glazing, and keep the painting as originally published. It's a marvelous dragon either way, painted in oils on masonite board. 27" x 16" and comes custom framed. Signed by Hickman lower right in the image.
