Sean Smith: Pulsar

This is an original painting from c. early 1980s, and from the information on the back, likely shown and purchased at a science fiction convention in the Northeast - I am checking now with folks who might be familiar with the artist.  It's painted in acrylics on what looks like masonite, 8" x 10.5" and comes matted to 10.5" x 13.5".  We all remember that splatter technique for depicting space - so fondly!  A small gem!  This painting is part of a very special private collection of twelve astronomical paintings, with all sales benefitting the National Space Society, thanks to Joe Rauscher - long-time Space Solar Power advocate, and Director at the Space Development Foundation. These original works have not been available on the market since they were first acquired from the artists in the late 1970s-early 1980s, making this a rare opportunity for collectors.
