Richard Bober: Titania & Oberon

This is an original artwork, created c. 1998, a preliminary painting of the characters "Titania and Oberon" created for a planned series of collector plates for the Bradford Exchange, to be based on Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Painted in acrylic and color pencil on gessoed hardboard/masonite, in the round 15" diameter on larger board, and is signed and inscribed top right of image "this is the first stage of painting.
