Richard Bober: The Duchess with Baby

Full color portrait of the character "The Duchess" inspired by his commission for the cover illustration for "Fantastic Alice" (Ace, 1996) In acrylic and oils on stretched canvas, 30" x 24" and is signed by the artist.  Richard, at one point, became somewhat obsessed by the characters in "Alice", and has completed numerous sketches and portrait studies involving them (see the "Elegant Mad Hatter" and "Of Mice and Men/The Dormouse" also on offer).
