Richard Bober: Study of Woman Arms Wrapped
Original painting, a study of a woman in the nude, seated - posed to deflect curiousity or prevent exposure.... both physical and emotional. Knees up, arms wrapped, head turned away - she is doing what she can to hide/escape. What makes Bober's nudes so interesting - and this one especially so - is how he strives for unusual poses, giving each one their own identity without making the model known - natural yet totally composed. This is one of the most interesting I've seen, sone in monochrome oil on canvas 24" x 18". The Estate will provide a letter of authenticity.
