This is the original preliminary painting created in advance of completing the final cover art for by Sylvia Cassedy's fantasy novel,  published by Harper Collins, 1993.  (I show the published cover for your reference) One of the most detailed of Bober's prelims, great details and colors, first time offered for sale.  Hand-painted in oil and acrylic on paper 11" x 8.25" stamped Richard Bober Studio on reverse.
