Richard Bober: Hitchcock: Don 't Look a Gift Shark in the Mouth

Original cover illustration (revised!) for one in the famous Dell series from Dell Books, this one from 1976 - and one that for some reason Richard changed after the fact.  Interestingly, he chose as reference a memorable photo of Hitchcock and Truffaut, from the mid 1960s, as his inspiration!  The photo was then flipped and used for the cover of the documentary from 2015.  In acrylic and oil on masonite, 22" x 15" the price currently reflects some possible surface scuffing, will do my best to get a better photo for you if you need ....meanwhile I wanted to be sure to offer it....
