Richard Bober: Bhagavati Blood of the Goddess

This is the original painting created to illustrate the cover for Book #3 in Kara Dalkey's "Blood of the Goddess" series of fantasy novels,  published by Tor, 1998.  (I show the published cover for your reference) This gorgeous painting, alas, suffered damage while Richard was alive - and, rather than destroy it (as he threatened to do) I persuaded him that it was certainly worth keeping.  The owner came up with an inventive custom framing solution, which preserved as much of the painting as possible.  This can be saved, or - if symmetry is the aim - the painting can be reduced even further, while maintaining the integrity of the central imagery and "look" of the cover.  This would be up to you.  The original artwork was in oil and acrylic on board, 45" x 35" Signed in initials "RB" bottom right in image. After framing, it is c. 50" x 40" as you see in the photos.  Do I need to add that this is an amazing painting for the price?
