Paul Alexander: D-Day Normandy

Original full color artwork commissioned for a collectible plate commemorating June 6, 1944 - D-Day - published by a Veteran's organization in Philadelphia, PA late 1990s. A wonderful work, one of a few, rare military illustrations done over the years by Alexander - in gouache on Illustration board, painted to be reproduced in the round, image at widest points 18.8" x 18.5" on board 20" x 20", signed left center in the image, unframed.
