Ned Dameron: Portrait Study of Cleopatra

This is an original artwork in thin oils on canvas mounted to masonite, 12" x 9"  created as personal work, unsigned and likely created c. mid to late 2000-2010.  Ned titled this piece "Cleopatra" but in comparing various of his works, the figure, pose, and styling of the hair and headdress is very much reminiscent of "The Coelura" by Anne McCaffrey - and in particular, the pen-and-ink frontispiece for that book, depicting Lady Cinna, published by Underwood, 1987.
