This is the original painting used to illustrate the back cover of "The Terrors of the Sea" a collection of previously unpublished stories by William Hope Hodgson, editied by Sam Moskowitz, and published in hardcover, 1st edition, by Donald M. Grant, 1996 (I'm showing the published back cover as well as the front cover, as reference).  The art is handpainted in oil on acetate overlay mounted to black board, 22" x 17" and is signed and dated by Dameron, bottom left.  It's a stunning image, one of Ned's best and most romantic!
