Bargain time! At one point, back in the late 1970s, I believe Martin Cannon was a rising illustrator producing various color and black-and-white art for various fanzines and indie comics, and in March 1977 he mailed a dozen of his pen/ink works, unsolicited, to Dave Hartwell, Editor of Cosmos Science Fiction magazine, I imagine, for his consideration - the magazine was in publication at that time. None of the works to my knowledge were ever used, he was never hired, and for whatever reason they were never returned - and that's how they come to be offered for sale. They are all in ink on watercolor paper, either 11" x 14" matted to 14" x 18", or 18" x 14"and unmatted. All are signed "Cannon" bottom left in the image. They are numbered 1-12 on the back, but because 12 seems like too many for one lot, I have turned the group of drawings into two lots of six each. This is group #7-#12.
