Ken Kelly: Alexander of Macedon

This is an original vintage painting by Ken Kelly (1946-2022) created for the cover of the novel by Harold Lamb, published in paperback by Pinnacle Books, 1976 (I show the published cover for reference).  Relatively rare to the secondary market, this is one of Kelly's most dynamic images, distinctive for featuring his typical and recognizable "high fantasy" style imagery.  The painting is signed and dated '76 bottom right - "K.W. Kelly" (the K often confused with C, because of his unusual style of signing) and is painted in oil on board, 29" x21" and comes framed, unglazed, to 31" x 23".
