Jim Burns: The Search for KA

This original cover painting by Burns was used for #5 in "The Gandalara Cycle" series of fantasy novels by Randall Garrett and Vicki Ann Heydron - and tells the tale of searching for a lost city to find a powerful artifact to claim a throne.  Published in the 1st edition by Bantam/Random House, 1984 (I show the published cover for your reference) . The last time this was offered was in my Catalog 24, 2008 - and it was also featured in Jim Burns' first solo art book "Lightship", on p. 31.  Hand painted in Acrylic on masonite, 26” x 16  and is signed and framed.
