Jim Burns: "Muscle Ship"

This is an original personal painting created by Jim Burns with the full title "Muscle Ship of the Lalandian Hegemony Precision De-warping over Blood Lake, Faraway, Dench System" -  One of five works created for a planned book project with the working title "Navigators of the Empyrean".  It was reproduced in Burns' artbook  "Transluminal" published by Paper Tiger (UK) 1999.  One of Jim's all time best paintings, demonstrating his amazing technical skills and prodigious imagination, paintin in acrylics on illustration board with dimensions 23" x 18" plus matte and frame and is Signed and  titled in the margin, and dated by the artist, 1992.
