*Jill Bauman: "Rogue Queen"

Original art created for the frontispiece of "Rogue Queen" - for the Easton Press special edition of the novel by  L. Sprague de Camp.  I purchased this from Jill way back in 1997 -  because yes, even back then I was crazy for “insects in armor”!  It's a mesmerizing image, totally fun, and totally representative of Jill's wholly original style of expression, painted in acrylic on canvas 14” x 10” and comes framed.  (Sidenote: this piece was also displayed in the “Collector’s edition” exhibit, San Francisco Museum, 2006.
