This is the original painting by Vanderstelt, created for Book #2 of 5 in Mandy Klasky's "Glasswrights" series, published by ROC, 2001 (I show the published cover for your reference). Jerry did the covers for all five books in the series, and his daughter was the model for the young girl in this painting.
