Jerry Podwil: Outlaw Gold

This is an original vintage painting by well-known illustrator jerry Podwil (1938-2018) created for the cover of the western novel by Bradford Scott,  published 1963 in paperback by Pyramid G819.   Podwill, famed for his "gothic" book covers, was equally skilled in capturing the energy of cowboys...painted in gouache on illustration board, 22" x 12" and comes matted and framed to 29" x 19" - credited to Podwil back of the book (see photo) which comes with the purchase.
