Janny Wurtz: "The Ice Witch's Forest" Study

This is an original study by Janny Wurtz - well known author and artist - created in preparation for completing the final art for card #11
"Ice Witch's Forest" featured in her 1996 FPG Janny Wurts Fantasy Art trading card set. (I show an image of the final card art for reference) Painted in acrylic on illustration board, 7" x 4.75" framed to 12" x 9.5" and is signed bottom right.  The subject matter was part of her fantasy/wizard-themed artwork series tied conceptually to her Cycle of Fire / Stormwarden universe, and it is very elegant and finely rendered.
