Ian Miller: "Wings" Prelim #1

This original drawing is one of two interiors from "Wings" by James Lovegrove, a 2001 young adult science fiction novel by acclaimed British author James Lovegrove that was published by Barrington-Stoke (UK) that we are to fortunate to be able to offer since we first sold them to the current owner, 2002. (the published cover is shown for your reference)  Hand-drawn in Pen and ink on watercolor paper, they are each 10.5" x 6" matted and framed to 14" x 18" and are a perfect example of Ian's highly original style and amazing imagination.  "Wings" was written specifically for reluctant readers as part of the Barrington Stoke publisher series; the story follows Az, a boy living in a world where everyone grows wings, but he struggles to get his own.  Ian captured every detail of the story in his interior illustrations, and if you are interested in purchasing both drawings, while they are stilll available, please note that I can make the pair $1200. plus combined shipping for the two.
