This is the original painting created by Ian Miller for the cover of  Book 3 in M. Scott Rohan's "The Winter of the World series" published by Futura (UK) 1988. (I show the published cover for your reference) One of Ian's best from the decade showing his dark fantasy skills, and few from this time period ever come to market - hand-painted in gouache and colored inks on illustration board in Ian's instantly recognizable style, 7.25” x 9.75” plus comes matted and framed to 14" x 16" and is signed in initials and dated in logo .
