This is the original preliminary artwork for "City of Dreams" from Hannah's series of paintings featuring imaginary cities, from 1993. The finished painting was completed as a private commission, for which this prelim was created; subsequently the final painting was transferred into the collection of the author - Alfred Tella - whose novel "Aurelia Dreaming" featured the painting on its cover ( Wildside Press. 2012) The artwork is in perfect shape, in mixed media (inks and pastel crayons) image dimensions 8" x 111" on heavy rag paper 11.5" x 14" unsigned and carries the notation "Franks" upper left corner (the original owners) original preliminary artwork 1993
