This is the original cover painting created by Ruddell to illustrate the cover of the fantasy novel by Tom Dietz,  published by Baen Books in paperback, 2000 (see published cover for reference) Handpainted in oils on canvas mounted on wood panel, 24" x 16" and signed by Gary bottom right.   It also comes custom framed, see photo.   Dramatic and intense - fantastic visual effect and coloration, a very fine example of Ruddell's talent.
