This is the original cover painting for a WW2 battle at sea, novel title unknown but likely MacDonald/Futura early to mid 1980s.   One of a small handful of cover illustrations Fred painted in oil, to show off his skills in rendering highly detailed and dramatic scenes of war - this one handpainted wraparound format,  19" x 25" and signed.
