This is an original painting used as an interior illustration for a story in the UK magazine "Men Only" in the 1980s - Fred just can't remember which issue and can't find a tearsheet.  If you happen to be a fan of this magazine and recognize the story, please let me know! But even if you aren't, this is a fun image for anyone addicted to the idea of discovering gold!  Painted in acrylics on illustration board, 13" x 20" so likely it appeared as a two-page spread!  Comes signed.
