This is an original painting created for the cover of a historical romance novel by Elizabeth Goudge, published by Coronet, in paperback 1992.  Fred produced a number of book covers for this well-known British author - this one set in England at the time of Napoleonic Wars .  Lovely imagery and details, in "wraparound" landscape format, in acrylic on illustration board, 18" x 24.5"  and comes signed.
