Original preliminary art prepared in advance and chosen for the final cover art illustrating the lead story, "This One” - by James Sallis, for "Worlds of If" magazine, January 1970. In mixed media, 7.5" × 5.5" wirh partial tissue paper overlay showing the layout, unsigned but credited in the magazine. Note how closely this resembles the final cover, only a bit more risque' :)
