This is the original cover painting for the WW2 adventure novel by Patrick Blake, published by MacDonald in their hardcover edition, 1982.  One of the few large cover illustrations Fred painted in oil, to show off his skills in rendering highly detailed and dramatic scenes of war - whether battleships and submarines or soldiers.  Imagine this painting: magnificent!  It's 19" x 25" and signed.
