This is an original painting by the renowned comic artist, intended as the poster art for a movie remake of Jules Verne's classic "A Journey to the Center of the Earth" - undated, but estimated to be circa 1970. The dynamic fantasy work captures a tension-filled moment of peril for our intrepid adventurers - and is handpainted in oil on illustration board,  24" x 20" and is signed by the artist in the middle left. Plus comes handsomely custom framed (see photos).
