This is the original cover painting for the novel by A McArthur & H Kingsley Long, published by Corgi 1982 - set in the Gorbals in Glasgow.  Realistic, and visually arresting, painted in Oil over acrylic and gouache on illustration board, 10.5" x 13.5" in "wraparound" format - with (as usual) the front cover not doing justice to this image, much more impressive when seen as a whole.  Comes with a label attesting to its authenticity signed by Pether's widow, mounted to the back.    One of a kind - so if you love it, don't hesitate.
