This is the original vintage cover painting for the romance novel by Rhona Martin, published by Corgi, 1983 (I show the published cover for reference) Yes, these are just flowers - but beautifully one in gouache and acrylic on illustration board, 17.75" x 12.25"  and comes with a label attesting to its authenticity signed by Pether's widow, mounted to the back.  There are some small spots near the top and slight crease near bottom, but cropping when framing will eliminate the issues and this is a lovely illustrative work, nevertheless!
