This is the original vintage cover painting for the script book featuring five classic scripts from the popular British TV sitcom, published 1975 by Futura (published cover shown for reference)  Hancock's Half Hour was originally a BBC radio comedy - broadcast from 1954 to 1961 - written by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson.  This painting would be a treat for any fan of comedy, and especially for fans of this very popular show.  Done in gouache and acrylic on illustration board 13" x 11.25" and comes matted  -  plus with a label attesting to its authenticity signed by Pether's widow, mounted to the back.
