Original preliminary art created for the "Iron Thane" paperback cover published by Baen, 1993 and also seen titled "Warlord" in Sweet's collector card set,  from FPG 1994 as part of the Metallic Storm foil chase card  (book  shown for reference only). Dynamic and colorful, even more intimidating than the character in the final art!  Handpainted in acrylic on illustration board, 7" x 4.25"  titled, signed and dated 1993 on the back by Sweet (see also listed, while available, the final art)
