Original cover painting created to illustrate the fantasy novel by Mercedes Lackey, Book 3 in her "World of Bardic Voices" series published in paperback by Baen, 1996 (book  shown for reference only).  Darrell created wonderful fantasy scenes - and this is one of them!   Painted in acrylic on gypsum board, 24" x 15" and signed DKS bottom right in the image.
