This is the Original cover painting for #14 in the long-running series of Xanth novels by Piers Anthony  - featuring a marvelous snarling dragon, with a fantastic castle as backdrop.  It's a great Xanth cover....rendered beautifiully in "high" DKS style.   One of a handful of final paintings being offered by his estate - none available until now.  One of the earlier editions published by Avon, 1991  (book  shown for reference only).  Painted in acrylic on gypsum board, 24" x 32"  and signed "DKS"
