This is an original cover illustration for a Regency Romance by Margaret SeBastian, published by Popular Library, 1977 (I show the cover as reference). Yes, it's true!  DKS actually produced several covers for romances and westerns in his long career - although rarely given credit for them!   This is a sweet one, handpainted   done in acrylic on gypsum board, 24" x 15"  and signed.
