This is the original preliminary artwork created for one of Terry Pratchett's well-known Discworld novels, this edition published by Ace, 1992.  (I show the published book for reference)  As you can see, this was not the prelim image chosen by the Art Director to take to "final" form; and what a pity!  the characters are there and look to be having a lot more fun!!  Painted in acrylics on illustration board, 7" x 4.25" and is titled and signed on the back.
