This is the 2nd of two original preliminary artworks created for Barbara Hambly's fantasy novel published by Del Rey 1993 (I show the published  cover for reference) This one is an alternate concept, showing multiple characters in a very engaging and more complex composition, plus is larger than typical size.... Handpainted in acrylic on illustration board, 8.5" x 5.5" and is titled dated and signed on the back of the painting by Darrell.
