Courtney Skinner: "Lunar Sand Fortress ( EVA #26)"

This original vintage painting by Skinner dates back to the 1970s, and the title given to it back then "EVA #26" would be better known to the science-fans of the era - according to the artist - as referring to “Extravehicular Activity” - whenever astronauts in one of the moon landings would leave the Lunar Excursion Module and drive about in the moon buggy, which is the vehicle you see in the distance.  It now carries a more descriptive title, provided by Cortney!  Painted in acrylic on illustration board, 6.5" x 7.5" and matted and framed to 9.5" x 12"  plus initialed bottom right and  signed on back
