This is an original painting of Mars - with rover!- from 1985.  Neat Mars landscape, painted in acrylics on illustration board in horizontal format 10.75" x 18.5" signed bottom left in the image, plus is signed, titled and dated on the reverse - and comes double matted to 16" x 24".  A large beauty, very impressive!  This painting is part of a very special private collection of twelve astronomical paintings, with all sales benefitting the National Space Society, thanks to Joe Rauscher - long-time Space Solar Power advocate, and Director at the Space Development Foundation. These original works have not been available on the market since they were first acquired from the artists in the late 1970s-early 1980s, making this a rare opportunity for collectors.
